Meet our driven and genuine junior, Rachel!
Hometown: Norcross, GA
What are you most looking forward to?
Finishing nursing school and finally being able to start helping people as a nurse!
Biggest thing you've learned in college so far?
My biggest takeaway from college is the importance of community. My friends have been the ones who are consistently there to motivate me and pick me up in the hardest of times and I am so appreciative of them!
If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with your extra time?
I hope I can always sleep because I love my rest, but if I did have more time I would love to spend it cooking and traveling!
Favorite Chi-O memory?
This year made me realize how to make the most of a hard time, specifically having to stay home! My friends and I had a PowerPoint night and it was so much fun!
All-time favorite meal?
My go-to is always tomato soup and grilled cheese!
New skill or hobby you picked up over quarantine?
I spent a lot of time sewing masks for my community! I made several hundred of them and loved it because I could help out in any way I could during the pandemic.
