What’s at the top of your bucket list?
To rock climb in the South of France! Both a dream destination and a passion project. I’m inspired by a professional climber my age, Margo Hayes, who made rock climbing history becoming the first female to send one of the hardest routes in the world! She’s unreal!
How has Chi O impacted your freshman year?
Chi O gave me an immediate sense of community and belonging in the midst of a crazy transition. The older girls encourage and support me, my big is amazing, and I have made my closest friends through it! When I walk into Chi O I can’t believe I’ve only been a part of it for these few months. It’s been a very special part of my freshman year.
Favorite study spot in Athens?
Buvezl! It’s funky and has awesome natural light, it’s not too crowded with students, and it’s right next to Active Climbing! Though If I really need to grind before a big test, I head for the library.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of college what would it be?
Coconut Chicken Adobo from the food truck, Manila Express! It’s changed my life. It is so flavorful, and Rachel and Alfredo (who own it) have become the friendliest of faces!
What is something that everyone needs to hear?
The best advice I’ve been given this year is to take things lightly! College can have the overwhelming pressure of constantly having to achieve, but I don’t want to miss out on the sweet and joyful moments of everyday life in Athens.
